Forensic Data Recovery Experts

What is Forensic Data Recovery and why is it important?

Forensic Data Recovery is the rescuing of data from damaged evidence sources in a forensically sound manner. Forensic data recovery does not only retrieve data that has been unintentionally (or intentionally!) corrupted, damaged, lost, but also data that has been encrypted and/or hidden.

It is an extremely powerful method of evidence collection that delivers reliable evidence; and most importantly the evidence provided through this means is not altered.

From the primary means of judicial expertise, Forensics Data Recovery is extremely important, because it guarantees the INTEGRITY and AUTHENTICITY of all electronic evidence.

Our forensic experts can access metadata (or data about data),  such as time stamps and email header information. The metadata can be used to authenticate recovered items and help establish timelines for litigation purposes.

Still wonder just how essential Digital Evidence Recovery is?

The evidence supplied through Data Recovery can be as or even more critical and condemnatory as any other physical evidence to the success of prosecution in all cases involved.

Think of it this way: you may be discovering a gold mine you didn’t even know was there.

Through our services, we help our clients discover evidence that may be easily overlooked or totally undiscovered, and this in itself could make or break one’s effective success in a prosecution case.

We recover data long after it is assumed to have been deleted, such as:

  • Emails
  • Files
  • Documents
  • Web Based Data
  • Cloud Based Data
  • Hard Drive Data
  • and so much more!

A lack of deleted files on a device or hard drive can be a sign of data “wiping”, operating system re-installation or some other method of data concealment.

This information can be especially useful as evidence of an attempt to conceal illicit activity.

Great to know!

The so-assumed “deleted” data can also be retrieved from mobile devices and other digital storage devices

So, deleted files aren’t actually deleted?

When you delete an email, document or file and then empty the Trash or Recycle Bin on the computer, most people assume that, what has been deleted is gone forever.

However, electronic documents are not so easily disposed of. In fact, pressing “delete” on a computer, smartphone or other digital devices, only erases the digital pathway to the location of the data, but the data itself often remains intact and stored within the electronic device.
