Mr. Mattinson worked in research and technical support for both government and the private sector while completing his BSc at Dalhousie University. After relocating to Vancouver, Ryan's experience has ranged from senior sales with a leading GNU/Linux email server developer to content development for an offshore online gaming firm. An avid GNU/Linux and open source enthusiast, he knows there is usually more than one solution for a given scenario.

Ryan is responsible for inside sales and marketing at TCS and his current research interests include the Electronic Discovery Reference Model, the Sedona Canada Principles and their impact on Canadian e-discovery practices. He also continues to develop and present accredited Continuing Professional Development curricula for lawyers and paralegals on the topic of electronic discovery. He is a support volunteer at the FG Community Technology Center in Vancouver and is currently working on his next IT certification.
