Mr. Kojima is the Senior Forensic Examiner with TCS Forensics Ltd. His duties include the management of the forensic laboratory, the seizure and analysis of computers, cell phones and other digital media, the analysis of this media, and the production of expert reports and providing expert testimony as necessary. Mr. Kojima has been active in this capacity since April of 2006 and in this time, has conducted hundreds of examinations. Mr. Kojima has given presentations to law firms and other professional agencies on topics such as computer security and data forensics.

Prior to joining TCS Forensics, Mr. Kojima’s experience was in law enforcement, where he became familiar with the rules of evidence, namely continuity, acquisition and preservation for court purposes. During his tenure he was designated a ‘Super User’ and provided Technical Support for the police computer system (PRIME). Mr. Kojima’s experience also includes undercover operations and organized crime investigations. He has distinguished himself in the course of his duties and was awarded a deputy chief’s commendation for valour.

Mr. Kojima was the first in Canada to become ACE certified. The ACE Certification is recognized by courts in Canada and the US, and by law enforcement, business and government as one of the world’s leading credentials in computer forensics. Mr. Kojima has received advanced training in the growing field of mobile forensics and is also currently working through his Masters of Science in digital forensics.
