Mr. Derek Ho’s experience prior to TCS Forensics includes work in the IT division of a large multinational financial institution and a position with a government health authority providing technical support services for a province-wide health information system. He has also worked on various technical projects in the private sector before coming to work with TCS.

Derek is able to work in both the lab, where he conducts forensic analysis and establishes findings, and on the field, performing on-site evidence acquisitions. Derek has experience in conducting forensic procedures and analysis on both standard computer systems as well as mobile devices. In addition to his responsibilities as a forensic examiner, Derek also assists his associates in performing penetration testing and wireless network audits. He has also presented to legal professionals regarding the digital forensics process. Derek is currently enrolled in the BCIT Bachelor of Technology program in Forensic Investigation, focusing on Computer Crime Studies.
